EVERYONE is invited and encouraged to attend all 8 scheduled events.

1.MEETING/TRAINING AIS Saturday, February 20th 10:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.?

Those who are not in the American Iris Society will pay $20 for this event
or they can contact Lynn Hess about joining..

2. WELCOME BACK MEETING Monday, March 22nd 7:00 p.m. a. We have an activity planned that will help us know more about each other. b. We will conclude the evening by viewing pictures of our favorite flower: Iris!
c. The following things will be available for you to pick up:

Early and Late Show schedules
List of our member’s favorite iris (from a 2009 meeting)

3. IRIS SYMPOSIUM Monday, April 26th 7:00 p.m.
a. We will have some of our experienced iris growers share their knowledge and
insights about grooming iris for the upcoming shows and about hybridizing.
b. We will also have an informal mini show of iris in bloom.
Best iris will receive an iris rhizome.

4. EARLY IRIS SHOW Saturday, May 8th (set up Friday night, May 7th)

5. LATE IRIS SHOW Saturday, May 22nd (set up Friday night, May 21st)
(in conjunction with Artistic Designers)

6. GARDEN VISIT Late May (We will visit a garden of a member)

7. IRIS SALE/AUCTION/ELECTIONS (Combined AIS, UIS, and Daylily Society event)
Saturday, July 31st from 10:00a.m. to approximately 1:30 p.m.

8. IRIS AWARDS BANQUET Saturday, September 18th (evening)
